Our vision is to glorify God by fully loving Him and loving others. How do we plan to accomplish our vision? One way is by committing to use our skills and gifts to further the cause of Christ through ministry. We know from God's Word that we are given different kinds of gifts, service, and works from the Holy Spirit through the Lord Jesus Christ for the common good of the body of believers (1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4). Therefore, there is a variety of opportunities to serve within our church family. The following are specific needs we have right now. Our Church Staff and Prayer Team are here for our church family, to bring our needs and concerns to the feet of Jesus Christ; as well as, to celebrate with us in giving thanks to God for His presence in our life. In addition, Our Church Staff and Prayer Team believe that the God of our Lord and Savior Jesus hears our requests and He intercedes on our behalf according to His will. WITHIN OUR WORSHIP ARTS MINISTRIES
The Worship Arts Ministries here at Buffalo Covenant Church are looking for people who have a desire to serve the Lord in creative ways. You don't necessarily have to be on the platform, be able to play an instrument, or sing to be involved with our team... although we DO have needs in those areas as well! We are looking for people who feel that God has gifted them in the area of creative communication and the arts; people with great hearts and great attitudes who are ready to serve. Buffalo Food Shelf
The Buffalo Food Shelf is looking for volunteers to help with weekly distribution on Tuesdays from 5:30-8:00 p.m., Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Please check out their web site for volunteer information, or stop by the food shelf (301 12th Ave. S., Buffalo) when it is open and fill out a volunteer form.
