Dear BCC Family,

THANKS CARL!

This Sunday we will give a big "Thank You!" to Pastor Carl for many years of faithful service. First he served as Senior Pastor for 20 years, and then after a bit of a break, came back and has served as Care Pastor for about 8 years more.  Wow!  That is any achievement in any field of endeavor, but especially in the pastorate, to put in more than 28 years in the same church is amazing.  What's more, Pastor Carl deserves a deep debt of gratitude from us for his faithfulness, wisdom and love.  

I've been blessed to work with him in the past 9 months since I have arrived here. 

If you have cards or gifts you are welcome to bring them to church on Sunday for Pastor Carl. (He doesn't want us to make a fuss over him, but we think he is special!)  We will be saying our thanks to him in all 3 services.

WELCOME DOUG!

And so, with the departure of one man of God, we want to welcome the arrival of another. Pastor Doug was approved this past Sunday night at the Membership Meeting as our new Pastor of Congregational Care.  Doug has served churches in MN and Michigan. He is very relational and personable. He is the right man for the job of helping us to provide the care and love of Jesus for those in times of need in our fellowship.  Pastor Doug will be providing pastoral care to our BCC family during times of grief, pain or loss. He will also be helping to lead the Care & Prayer Team. 

We will be welcoming him in all 3 services this week. 

Doug and his wife, Sherry, are a wonderful couple, and you will enjoy getting to know them.
