BCC Family Road Trip: The Creation Museum

October 16-19, 2014 (MEA weekend)
Petersburg, KY • Cincinnati, Ohio metro area

We will be taking our families and boarding the church bus and van for a fun-filled road trip to the Creation Museum in Kentucky!

This world-famous state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings. Walk through the Garden of Eden. See the scaffolding, smell the freshly-cut timbers in the busy work site of Noah’s Ark. Dig up dinosaur bones—or come face to face with T. Rex. Within the museum is a special effects theater, complete with rumbling seats and rising mists and the Stargazers Planetarium. Take your family on a fantastic quest to find the real purpose and meaning of life. The grounds outside the museum feature parks, walking trails, zip-lines, a petting zoo, and fabulous gardens. And every inch of this amazing museum is designed to bring glory and honor to the God of creation!

We will leave from the church early on Thursday morning and spend two nights at a hotel near the museum that has an indoor pool and free hot breakfast for our families to enjoy. Friday and Saturday will be spent at the museum, and we’ll drive through the night, arriving back in Buffalo on Sunday morning. Pricing for the entire package has been arranged.

We need to remind children and adults of the truth of creation, the entrance of sin and death, the Flood, and the saving gospel message! That’s why we are offering this opportunity for your family to learn about Biblical science. The study of science does not lead us away from God, it leads to God, the Creator of all things. The Creation Museum brings modern science and Biblical truth together in one powerful message.

This trip is a significant opportunity for your family to understand the Biblical approach to the study of science, and the validity of the Creation-Science approach to origins. By taking our families together in a group, we share this experience and it will be a lasting encouragement to our kids as they stand for Christ in a non-Christian culture. Find details at a counter in our Welcome Center area. Seats are limited to the capacity of the bus, and it is filling up FAST! Register soon!
