Remodel & Financing Update

Operation Fishnet

In Matthew 4:22 we are told that when Jesus called James and John to be His disciples they were in their boat “preparing their nets” (Matthew 4:22).

Jesus has called us to be “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). But before we can fish, the nets have to be ready. This remodel project and funding is about getting the nets ready. We want to have the room we need to invite people to join us at the wedding banquet of the lamb.

This remodel project’s main purpose is to provide enough space for the people who want to come. It includes replacing pews with chairs, and paving and lining the parking lot so that we have enough room for the cars of our church family, friends, and guests.

Other elements include better sound, lighting, platform and lobby improvements, all designed to improve our outreach and worship experience together.

To help us “prepare our nets for ministry” a packet of information was mailed out the week of July 17th to members and regular attenders. If you didn’t receive and would like this packet of information, call the Church Office (763-682-1470).
