Dear BCC Family,

God is good and great!

We had a great worship service yesterday, and a great day of ministry overall. The Word was preached, and God was praised in a very beautiful and moving worship service yesterday. The children were discipled in our Sunday School classes. The men met for early morning prayer before service and prayed for our church and pastors. The Ushers had a mini-training session and breakfast, and learned how to better welcome people into our services. And the Vikings won!  So, good day on both spiritual and sports front.  ;)

Here is what has been happening with the remodel so far:

Parking Lot

As you know, the main work of the parking lot is done. Next Spring when the weather gets hot enough, we will do a reseal of the original parking lot, and then re-line the original as well, so that our entire lot will be sealed black and lined for easy parking. Also the parking lot lights will be arriving soon, and be installed so that we will have them during the dark of winter. It will also make our church much more visible at night.

Worship Center

The floor is leveled. The seating space has been pushed back to extend the total space within the worship center. The sound booth has been moved down to main floor. The balcony will now provide some of the best seating and viewing in the church when the new chairs are installed there. The framework for all of the acoustical tiles is up. The square frames for the video display are in place. The platform is raised six inches. It's going to look great in there.

Lobby

The lobby has been expanded and will provide lots of space for fellowship. I did not realize the spiritual and community importance of a lobby until we have experienced this time in our church life with nowhere to congregate between services. The return to an expanded lobby will be a welcome addition.

Operation Fishnet Fundraising Campaign

Another $5,771 was given to the Building Fund. We are almost half-way to our original $300,000 goal.  As God enables, continue to give to this campaign. We would like to be able to pay off this loan as soon as possible. If you have never given to it, you may want to prayerfully give that some consideration so that you can be a part of preparing our church for the next stage of ministry outreach.

Operation Fishnet Prayer Campaign

Please be praying that God would give you the chance to share your faith with someone and lead them to trust Christ as Lord and Savior. This past month, God gave me the privilege to lead two people to the Lord, and it is an exciting moment to pray with someone and to help them respond in faith to Christ for the very first time!

Then keep on praying that God would use you to invite people to join us for worship when we get into the new worship center. If you would like to grab one of the "Prayer Fish" at the front of the gym, you can put someone's name on it, and hang it on the net as a reminder to keep on praying for that person's faith.
