Cedar Falls 2013 Day 2 opening video 34 min
In arena after arena we called men out to be mighty men of God once again. An epic worship experience, followed with dynamic preaching and teaching from the Word of God ignited men with fuel for their souls, and a fresh new fire to lead their families, serve their churches and impact their worlds for the Kingdom of God.
God showed up in powerful ways throughout the season but one altar call stands out in my mind….. In Cleveland, hundreds of men came forward in response to a challenging message on addiction to Internet pornography. Our speaker told the men, “If this smart phone is the root cause of your addition, get rid of it”, then he threw the phone across the stage. One of the first to respond to the altar call was a 13-year-old with an iPad in his hand. When he got to the stage, he bashed his iPad on the corner of the stage, destroying it. The blessing – a 13-year-old Warrior for God was born!
Did you know a mere four percent (4%) of the “millennial” generation has a biblically based faith in Jesus Christ? Turning this generational trend around is not a task for the meek or the weak. This task requires a Warrior who will not be deterred. Our conference theme for 2013 is “Awakening the Warrior", and the timing couldn't be better
