Love, INC-Big Woods has a new resource available for parents with babies and young children. Certain baby items are offered for free to families in need in the Buffalo–Maple Lake–Hanover area.

Items to be given away to families in need include:
Baby blankets, back pack carriers, bottles, bouncy chairs, children’s book, crib sheets, diapers, diaper bags, high chairs, Pac-N-Plays, sling type carriers and baby wipes, to name a few.

If you or someone you know needs help OR to donate items, please call the Love, INC-Big Woods Clearinghouse (763-682-6820) on Mondays or Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and talk to an Intake Worker.

Do you want to help create a better life for those in need in our community? Love, INC helps churches help people by connecting needs with resources. You can make a difference! Many people need more than a warm coat or bag of groceries; they need to interact with loving Christian role models. Love, INC-Big Woods is in the next important step to meet the needs of individuals and families in our community. BUT they need our help!

To begin, sign-up for one of their hour long Volunteer Orientations: Tuesday, February 28 at 6:30 p.m. OR Friday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. OR Saturday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. Call their office at 763-682-2550 to sign-up.

Also, they have devised an “Individual Resource Inventory” to organize and find out who in partner churches are available to volunteer.
