Val is our Youth Pastor. A graduate of Northwestern College, she began working at BCC in May of 1983. Val met her husband, Mark, while working at BCC and in June of 1988, she took a leave of absence from full-time ministry to stay at home and raise her three children - Charissa, Anastasia, and Luke.
In 1998, BCC called Val back into student ministries for an interim period. That interim period has turned into the past four and a half years of fun-filled and exciting work with the students at BCC.
When she's not on a rollercoaster at ValleyFair or running around at a lock-in, Val likes to go camping with her family or hang out in the kitchen and watch Mark cook.
