Brett is our Lead Pastor. On any given week, you may catch him getting ready to preach, meeting with our church leaders, or building relationships with people new to BCC.
When he's not at church, Brett loves to hang out with his wife Shannon and their three kids Kaylee, Trevin, and Riley. He is proud to announce that his family has been to the Mall of America more than any other family on the church staff. Brett also loves to play golf, basketball, and do a little ice fishing.
Brett grew up in Fridley, MN. He crammed four years into five at Bethel College in St. Paul, MN with a degree in Biology and then spent five more years at Bethel Seminary graduating with a Masters of Divinity in the Spring of 2001. He served as youth pastor and interim senior pastor at Fridley Covenant- his home church, before joining the BCC staff in August of 2000. "It has been an incredible couple of years and I love being out here in Buffalo, except that I wish a White Castle restaurant would open a little closer to home."
