There are times in each of our lives when we are under unusual pressure, going through difficult times, or struggling spiritually. Buffalo Covenant Church seeks to provide specialized caring ministries for such times.
Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Ministry is a confidential one-on-one relationship dealing with personal challenges, crises, loss, loneliness, etc. Stephen ministers are volunteer Christian caregivers who are trained in specific helping skills, offering Christian love, and giving support through listening.
Pastoral Counseling
Our pastors are available for visiting the sick, comforting those who mourn, counseling and praying with those with special concerns. Couples planning to be married must receive premarital counseling.
GriefShare
GriefShare is a special 13 week seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It’s a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At GriefShare, you’ll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life.
Missing GRACE
The Missing GRACE Organization serves to help families on their journey through pregnancy and infant loss, infertility and adoption. They provide support and resources to aid individuals as they Grieve, Restore, Arise, Commemorate and Educate.
Prayer Chain
We believe that prayer is our most important link with our Father. A Prayer Chain is in operation day and night. Your friends at Buffalo Covenant will be in prayer as soon as a phone call is received requesting prayer for your need.
Nursing Home Ministry
One Saturday a month and some Wednesdays we visit residents at the Ebenezer Nursing Home in Buffalo. Anyone is welcome to join us. Contact Sue Oie (phone number or email needed) for more information on this ministry.
Meals On Wheels
In April and October we deliver meals to the shut-ins in Buffalo. The meals are made by the kitchen at Ebenezer Home and delivered by us.
