Buffalo Covenant is a community where people love God and each other. Our Care Ministry shares that love through times of great joy and through seasons of difficulty. We believe prayer is an important part of this ministry and devote both time and resources to prayer ministry within BCC.
Monday Prayer Meetings
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20
Mondays | 12:30-1:30 p.m | Room 201
The Monday noon prayer meeting is open to everyone who desires to pray and see God work on behalf of our church family, our community, our country and our world. If you have a prayer request, please contact us.
Soup & Prayer
Throughout the year, we periodically meet after the 11 am service to share in a simple meal of soup and bread. We then spend some time in prayer. Watch the bulletin and calendar for specific dates.
Encounter Prayer Nights
God doesn’t just want us to know about Him, He wants us to know Him personally! [Phil 3:3-11]
In this time together, we will worship God – have an opportunity to be prayed for and to pray for others. [James 5:13-18]
And we will join with the Spirit in praying for the nations. [Isa 56:7; Mark 11:17]
Join us in crying out to God to experience His presence more and see our lives changed forever. [Acts 2:42-47; 1 Thess 5:16-24]
Watch the bulletin and calendar for the next Encounter Prayer Night – it is typically on a Sunday evening at 5 pm in the Worship Center.
Care Chain
God often uses others within our church body to meet our needs. Our Care Chain connects those with needs to those who can help. If you would like to partner in providing assistance to someone who needs an extra hand with things like minor home repairs or a ride to a doctor’s appointment, please let us know what knowledge, skills and abilities you can offer. Working together we can build up the body of Christ to the glory of God! If you are in need of help, please contact the church office.
Visitation Team
Being the hands and feet of Jesus is a privilege. Visiting those who need encouragement is a great way to show that you care. Visitation is rewarding to both the receiver and the volunteer. Dedicate as much time per week that you are able to offer—it will be very much appreciated.
